Contact UsEvery year, we will give a no-strings-attached grant of 50K to 5 not-for-profit founders to kick-start their social impact initiative.
We aspire to help 1,000 not-for-profit founders, who need a little nudge to start their social impact journey. In addition to helping them with seed money, we also provide pro-bono coaching, when needed. We believe if each founder has the potential to impact 100 lives, then this little nudge will create an impact in 1,00,000 lives!
Our first beneficiary under this pledge is Anantmool, a not-for-profit building gender-free learning culture in rural Bihar.
Other beneficiaries are:
As goes an ancient Chinese proverb, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. For many, that is the heaviest step, as it is filled with uncertainty, inhibition and fear associated with starting something new. At this stage, a little bit of money and a lot of encouragement can be life-altering.
So, if you are someone for whom Rs. 50,000 can help sow the seeds of your social impact journey or help start an NGO, apply for the The Open Window Grant for Social Impact here.
This grant is dedicated to Mr. D K Verma, whose principles of social justice and equality inspired our founder to initiate this grant, after his death in 2021.
Please note this grant is released every year, in the month of December.
P.S. If you are looking for individual grants for your personal growth, then you can apply for the Escape Velocity Grant here.
Riti helped us create the strategy for our dream project, and she often lent us her comforting shoulder in times of crisis. Her constant guidance always keeps us motivated to work- working with her tools, analysing our priorities and setting milestones. Her emotional investment in our work was evident when she visited the Anantmool project site. Forever grateful to her for helping us sow the seeds of Anantmol!
Riti has been a pillar of support in running our organization since January 2023. Her guidance and mentorship have been invaluable in helping me navigate the day-to-day challenges. She is a patient and encouraging mentor who has helped me to find my own solutions and take ownership of my decisions. I am grateful for the scholarship she provided me with, which has allowed me to sustain myself while dedicating my efforts to the organisation’s mission.
Riti’s guidance was the catalyst that propelled me forward. Her dedication and expertise illuminated the path I needed to traverse. Her mentorship was the cornerstone on which my dreams found grounding. I feel privileged to have worked with her. Her influence continues to resonate in every step I take toward the fulfillment of my dreams of lasting social change.
Don’t get us wrong, this is no elite club with leather-lined armchairs and cigar rooms. The Better Founders’ Club is simply a community of for-profit founders who want to help not-for-profit founders, do good for the society, and create long-term impact.
Our intention is to connect passionate people who can help each other create something beautiful and maybe put a smile on someone’s face.
